For those who like gaming music, and have a special place in your heart for Metroid, you may want to pay attention. I realize I may not get it though, so I?m gonna get the most important detail out of the way right now ? it?s free!
Shinesparkers?is a site dedicated to everything Metroid. Harmony of a Hunter is a tribute album that spans track from all the previous Metroid games, all the way up to Metroid: Other M. This past album, like this new one is also free. ?101% Run? refers to the follow-up to the first album. There was talk for a while about this, and I thought originally it was going to be simply a EP with some songs that didn?t hit the first album. It is indeed another full length album, that spans three discs worth of music.
I?m a big fan of how the first HoaH came out, and love that it spans multiple genres of music, all?representing?the great music that comes from the Metroid franchise. I expect this album to be just as good, if not better. For a preview, you can download the original HoaH in full, and check out the latest preview for the new album right below.
One can look forward to enjoying what is sure to be a masterpiece on November 17th.
